What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a technique, invented in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pistor, where medication is injected into the mesoderm, the layer of fat and connective tissue under the skin. Over the past 50+ years, an excess of 15,000 physicians world-wide have used Mesotherapy on a daily basis for a variety of purposes, including fat reduction, cellulite reduction, hair loss, and wrinkle elimination.

It’s a great method for rejuvenation of face and hands and can be used together with our other non-surgical procedures.

By injecting microscopic quantities of vitamins and minerals just under the skin’s surface, it can improve its overall appearance and effectively and quickly treat common signs of ageing such as dull skin, wrinkles.

It is done using a very fine needle; a scientifically customised blend collagen stimulating vitamins is injected into the layer of skin just below the surface. The solution to be injected will vary depending on your desired outcome – with different types of skin rejuvenation requiring a different blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and Hyaluronic acid.

Each session will last around 20-30 minutes, and a course is recommended. Microinjections are given weekly for a month, and then a monthly maintenance regime is required to complete the course. Results and interval between sessions will vary depending on your body type and the condition being treated.

You may notice visible results after one session, but in most cases positive effects are noticeable after three to four visits.

There is no recovery period needed after Mesotherapy. You may return to work straight away. There are no risks involved except at times you may experience some bruising and swelling, as well as some soreness in the treated area for up to 48 hours after your treatment. However, this is normal, and will subside in few days.
